Stress is a leading cause of many of the health problems people are having today. People have stress for many different reasons including family issue, money problems, trouble at work and social responsibility and those are just a few. While it doesn't sound like those things can cause much of a problem, they can. Stress is responsible for things like high blood pressure, headaches, migraines, weight gain, trouble sleeping, excessive hunger, digestion problems, IBS, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, depression and anxiety.

When you have stress your body creates hormones that give you the boost you need to get through the stressful situation.  In this day and time we have more stress and often it is a constant bombardment to us and our bodies are not able to come down from the natural release of those hormones.  In essence the hormone gate is stuck in the open position releasing a constant flow until our bodies are exhausted and become we become ill.

Acupuncture can help.  One of the great things about acupuncture is its ability to help us relax and come back to the natural state that the body should be in.  Our bodies have a natural desire to be in a good place and acupuncture gets us back to that place naturally.

Once the cycle of stress is broken, the body has a chance to repair and we are able to focus on the symptoms that have come up.  Everyone responds differently to stress with different capabilities to handle it.  Acupuncture addresses all levels and can help you feel better.
